Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sunny Days Ahead iOS app (the "App") and this website (together, the "Services"), provided by SFJ Capital UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Dhauner Straße 42, 67067 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Services

Sunny Days Ahead helps you discover sunny destinations using historical weather data, explore climate insights month by month, save favorites, and plan trips with the help of in-app suggestions. Weather, climate and trip-planning content is provided for general informational purposes to support your own travel decisions.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Trip Credits and purchases

Exploring destinations, the Sunlendar and climate charts is free. Planning a full trip requires a one-time Trip Credit (€4 / $3.99), which lets you plan one trip with up to 10 refinements. A Trip Credit is a consumable digital item and is consumed when used.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's terms. Billing, receipts and refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies. Where a purchase is made outside the App Store, it is processed by our payment provider.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers): for digital content and services, you expressly consent to performance beginning immediately and acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Services unlawfully or in breach of these Terms;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services;
  • copy, scrape, or redistribute our content except as permitted by law;
  • misuse the trip-planning features to generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

5. Intellectual property

The Services, including their design, text, graphics, logos and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. Content you create (such as your trips) remains yours; you grant us the rights we need to store and display it to provide the Services.

6. Disclaimers

Weather and climate information is based on historical records and does not predict future conditions, and trip suggestions are generated to assist you and may be incomplete or inaccurate. The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for your own travel decisions, bookings and safety.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damages arising from intent or gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health, as well as under the German Product Liability Act. For slightly negligent breaches of material obligations (obligations whose fulfillment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may reasonably rely), our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability is excluded. These limitations do not affect mandatory statutory liability.

8. Changes

We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated as appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or where required by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
